The 559th Medical Group Staff is housed at Lackland AFB. This Group serves as command and staff for the Reid Trainee Clinic, which provides medical services to the Base’s 86,000 trainees annually. Built in 1967, the Clinic is incredibly undersized to serve its current mission. Patient population increases of 38% between 2008 and 2011 have exacerbated the problem.

M.E. GROUP is proud to be working with JE Dunn and Hoefer Wysocki Architecture on this long-awaited and important project for the U.S. Air Force’s medical staff.

The existing facility will remain operational during construction of the replacement facility. The new facility will provide outpatient primary care, mental health, ancillaries, support and administrative space.
