M.E. GROUP is excited to share the firm’s recent promotions and organizational changes, which will allow us as a team to better continue to live out our purpose of Improving Life through a Better Built Environment.

Our operations consist of our Building Engineering and Building Science divisions. Building Engineering is organized into five (5) practices, each with strategic focus. These include three (3) regional MEP Practices located in Denver, Kansas City and Nebraska; a Technology + Acoustics Practice; and the newly formed Energy + Ecology Practice.

M.E. GROUP’s Denver MEP Practice, will continue to be led by Jeff Visnic, PE, LEED AP, MBA. New to the leadership team is Mandy Redfield, PE, LEED AP BD+C, who will serve as Assistant Practice Lead. In this role, Mandy will work with Jeff to provide management and leadership over the entire Denver MEP Practice. Mandy, who has been with the firm for nearly 3 years, has served as the Senior Project Manager.

Bob Weber, PE, LEED AP BD+C recently joined Jeff and Mandy in Denver and is serving as the Chief Mechanical Engineer. Bob brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective to the Building Engineering division, joining a talented group of mechanical engineers. The Denver MEP Practice has already implemented several organizational initiatives to build strong teams and better deliver our work to clients, and this new leadership team will continue this momentum.

M.E. GROUP’s Nebraska MEP Practice will now be led by Scott Koelzer, PE, LEED AP BD+C. Scott, who has been on the M.E. GROUP team for 2+ years, has demonstrated strong leadership as the Chief Electrical Engineer of the Nebraska MEP Practice. He and his team will continue to serve the Nebraska community from our Lincoln and Omaha offices.

We are pleased to announce that Miles Dake, PE, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, who has served our design team with technical, innovative and energy-saving modeling solutions for 5+ years, has been elevated to the new role of Energy + Ecology Practice Lead. Miles is passionate about integrated design in architecture and engineering, and will be bringing that energy to our clients. His newly formed team will include analysts Erica DiLello and Kevin Campbell. The Practice will focus on enhancing a host of M.E. GROUP’s services including Energy Compliance Modeling, Whole Building Optimization (Enhanced Building Analysis), Net-Zero Water Design, Net-Zero Energy Design, Daylighting Analysis, Calibrated Simulation Models, Retro-Commissioning and Energy Audits. In the coming weeks, M.E. GROUP will share more information about how our Energy + Ecology services can help clients.
