We are pleased to announce even more promotions at M.E. GROUP, and this time they’re each homegrown! Congratulations to Andrew Bridges, P.E, and Conner Smith, P.E. for taking the helm of the KC MEP Design Practice. Andrew has been tapped to serve as the MEP Practice Lead; while Conner will serve as Assistant Practice Lead in KC. Each combine for 20 years of client-focused experience and both completed the M.E. GROUP Internship Program.

Andrew BridgesAndrew, a licensed mechanical engineer and experienced plumbing designer, has served as lead plumbing designer for the KC projects since 2012 and project manager since 2015. Most recently, Andrew has been serving as Mechanical Team Lead starting in January 2017. His clients include GouldEvans, ACI Boland, Hoefer Wysocki Architecture and Archimages to name a few. He has designed and provided oversight on several project types from healthcare, laboratories, higher education facilities and public safety. Some of his current projects are for the US Corps of Engineers, University of Missouri – Kansas City and the Johnson County Library system. Andrew’s role in this position is going to help ensure and enhance the quality of the Kansas City deliverables and continue to improve the already positive team and client relationships we’ve enjoyed in this Practice.

Conner SmithConner, a licensed mechanical engineer, has served as a lead mechanical designer for the Kansas City office since 2010 and a project manager since 2012. He was tapped to Mechanical Team Lead in early 2017 while having mentored many individuals prior to that. Conner has worked with a broad range of clients from GouldEvans, Pulse Design, Health Facilities and Hoefer Wysocki to name a few. He’s covered just about every project type, from K-12 to office buildings to healthcare. Healthcare being his most experience as he’s had one (sometimes more) major healthcare project every year of his career. He’s currently working on Hurlburt Air Force Base, Mid-Continent Public Libraries and new business pursuits. His new role will allow him to further pursue projects and develop/nurture relationships within the industry.
