ProLogis Global Headquarters
Denver, Colorado
ProLogis’ Phase I of their Global Headquarters is a 89,000 square foot office building;  Phase II is a 83,000 square foot building. Following the completion of Building One, ProLogis engaged with M.E. GROUP to take their worldwide portfolio through the LEED process.  As a result, ProLogis and M.E. GROUP were awarded a $15,000,000 grant by the Department of Energy and NREL to make net-zero energy commercial buildings financially viable by the year 2025.

Gallup University

Gallup University features a 5-story office complex, dining facility, a large data center, and child development center. The entire facility totals 300,000 square feet and incorporates LEED and sustainable building elements throughout the campus. The current 84,000 square foot addition is pursuing LEED Silver certification featuring an energy efficient mechancial system and green roof.

 M.E. Group's Omaha Office
Omaha, Nebraska
M.E. Group’s newest Omaha office is a high performance building “learning lab”.

The Omaha office is a 6,000 square foot building which incorporates the company’s philosophy of sustainable design and innovative, practical solutions. It is in the final stages of LEED certification. Upon certification, M.E. Group’s Omaha office will be Nebraska’s first LEED Platinum building.

Ravi Maniktala with M.E. Group said, “As high-performance building designers and green building consultants, we felt it was important to “walk the walk” as an expression of our commitment to sustainability. Thus, we targeted the highest LEED rating for our new office building.”

The firm utilizes the office building as a “learning laboratory” by incorporating a number of different technologies to monitor their performance. Clients can tour the building to learn about sustainability/LEED design practices, view a variety of mechanical, electrical and lighting equipment, and participate in eco-charettes.

Nebraska Heart Hospital
Lincoln, Nebraska

M.E. GROUP was the Prime Consultant for Nebraska Heart Hospital, a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.  The hospital is the second all digital hospital in the country, and the "paperless" facility enhances medical care by keeping accurate records and allowing for instant access by physicians.  A project of this magnitude usually takes multiple years to complete.  Because of the team structure, the new facility was completed in 16 months from the day land was purchased.

International Quilt Study Center

The International Quilt Study Center provides an impressive permanent home for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's
world-class quilt collection and textile history scholars. The overall design includes three levels and approximately
38,000 gross square feet of display, storage, administrative and research areas that allow public interaction with the
diverse collection and professional staff.

Physical Sciences Building
University of Nebraska

The Rough Rock Community School
Navajo Nation in Rough Rock, Arizona.

National Park Service Midwest Regional Headquarters
Omaha, Nebraska

The Carl T. Curtis Midwest Regional Headquarters houses the offices from which the National Park Service oversees a 13-state region. The National Park Service was dedicated to designing a building that exhibited its philosophies about the environment. The 68,000 square foot building's east-west axis allows simpler mechanical controls, increases daylighting, reduces solar heat gain from the west, and gives 90% of the occupants’ views of the river or surrounding area.

GSA LEED & Commissioning
Nationwide Contract
M.E. GROUP holds one of seven nationwide Prime Consultant contracts providing all regions of the GSA for Commissioning and Expert Professional Services. The projects include facility assessments and analyses, sustainable consulting and LEED certification services, program development studies, energy audits, high performance building design assistance and master-planning services.  Sample contracts executed under this IDIQ include:

Donahue Federal Building & Courthouse
Worcester, Massachusetts
The Donahue Federal Building and Courthouse is a 106,000 square foot historic building and was fully renovated in 1995. The building underwent major renovations, including envelope, lighting and energy systems upgrades. M.E. GROUP provided retro-commissioning services to identify energy efficiency improvements and demand reduction strategies, indoor air quality and occupant comfort improvements, and operational improvements.

The Kraft Foods Global Distribution Center is a 806,400 square foot food warehouse and distribution center. As the largest LEED-CI warehouse project in the world, it required a highly collaborative environment between the owner, tenant, design team and contractors. The Kraft Global Foods Distribution Center serves as an example of how sustainable design, fostered by a collaborative design and construction team, can provide an industry a new case study of successful project delivery for a new project type.

M.E. GROUP is providing MEP engineering, LEED, and commissioning services for two ProLogis owned rapid deployment centers. The larger of the two, BMW Northeastern located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania consists of 8,500 square feet of office space and 870,000 square feet of warehouse space. BMW Great Lakes, located in Minooka, Illinois totals over 6,000 square feet of office space and 295,000 of warehouse space.  Both BMW distribution centers features low flow fixtures and a landscape design that requires no irrigation.

Project Cascade
Strutevant, Wisconsin

Project Cascade is being constructed for a undisclosed Fortune 500 company. Once certified, the 432,000 square foot distribution center will be the second LEED-NC Gold certified building in Wisconsin. Project Cascade features multiple sustainable and energy-efficient components including geothermal heating and cooling, low flow fixtures, and light pollution reduction techniques. Project Cascade is awaiting LEED-NC Gold certification.
